“Summer Was Fun”
The Summer was a good time! We wrapped it up at the Factory with a Community Hours Downtown, a “Third Saturday” Coach/Client Workout and with a host of cool things coming up this Fall. So, let’s dive right in.
430pm Is Back!
During the Summer we removed the 430pm AP class to be better fit our summer athlete sessions and the natural Summer fluctuation of the AP’s attendance. Now that school is back, and mother nature things it’s Fall (at least this week), we are bringing it back to allow for school year normalcy.
New Coach!
If you haven’t had a chance to see her shadowing sessions over the last two weeks, be sure to introduce yourself to our new Coach, Kayli Baldrigde. Kayli recently finished grad studies at the University of West Virginia where she worked with Olympic sports (basically all sports not called American Football) in the Strength & Conditioning Program.
She will cover some AP shifts in the PM starting next week, then work with some Adult and Athlete Personal Training,as well as Athlete groups.
Factory Frenzy Replacement?
For the last few years we have done a Women’s only fitness competition as a way to raise money and awareness for one, if not two, charity organizations: Girl UP Greenville and/or Lucky Pup Rescue. Looking at the lowered attendance last year based on the downward trend of such competitions, we looked at something we could do that would still represent our clientle, who we want to attract and a way to still raise money and awareness for these organizations.
So, this year we have decided to partner with our long time client Brandi Jackson in the 1st Annual Brandi Jackson Golf Charity Classic.
We are going to still be raising money and awareness for Lucky Pup but adding The PKB Girls Tour that provides golf scholarships for female high school golfers. Now, our efforts are including males and all ages.
We would love to have multiple four person teams join to represent KPF. So please, check out the information about signing up then go out and find 3 friends to put in a team!
How Can I Help?
I hate to even put this out in the air but if you walk into some stores, you will already begin to see some Holiday themed stuff. While I don’t want to talk about Thanksgiving or Christmas yet, I do want to acknowledge how easy it is to let habits from the Summer linger into November. Then we let the Holiday season get here and say “I’m too busy and I’ll get back on it in 202?”.
The next thing you know, 6-8 months of “I’ll get back to it” happens and then it doesn’t.
So, before it gets there, let me know how I can help you. Email me directly or come up to me in the gym and ask to sit down. Let’s have a goal session and figure some things out so you stay on track.
