restoration project

Injuries happen. Now let’s get better!

Unfortunately injuries happen in sport and in life. While there are thins we can do to minimize them, there is never a way to completely avoid them. Once the injury occurs certain things should happen in order to get you back to performance.

The Restoration Project is designed to take you from the physical therapy transition to the return to sport and then competition. This is never a quick or linear process but we do our part to work with your team (orthos, therapist, parents and coaches) to help you make that come back.

Over the years we have helped 40+ athletes bridge the gap from injury to return to competition.

Will you be the next?

Our Process.

Step 1: Learn About You

Tell us all about your injury from start to finish. We will even ask question that pre-date your injury to collect as much infomation to help us understand how you eneded up with us. Completing the questionnaire as detailed as possible goes a long way in helping us prepare a plan for you.

Step 2: Build a Relationship & Evaluation

After going through your questionairre and talking to you on the phone, we'll bring you in for a physical evaluation. But just as importantly, this gives us a change to meet in person for the first time, you get to see the facility and meet our team.

We will take you through a series of movements and tests to see how your injury site is performing. Also look for any other areas of your movement that need addressing as well.

Step 3: Build Your Team

We connect with your physical therapist. We want to meet you where you are and to this point, you and your physical therapist have done a great job to get you here. Now we want to make sure that we continue to carry out the course. In order to do this we build a relationship with your therapist to keep lines of communication open. This allows us to work together to keep your path to recovery trending upward as we get you back to sport.

Step 4: Build Your Program

From the time we end your evaluatoin we will start building your program. With insight from your PT and talks with you about scheduling logistics, we will have all we need to get to work!

What Parents & Therapist Have Said.

I can’t say enough about KPF and the KPF family. I am a former collegiate athlete and work as a physical therapist, and I cannot express how rare it is to find a gym that is able to tie together a proper warm up, mobility drills, high intensity exercise, and multiplanar movement into a work out day in and day out. I would feel 100% confident in sending any patient of mine to KPF because of how knowledgeable the trainers are and their attention to detail. They truly put everything into what they do.

— Aaron S, DPT

“KPF is the elite performance gym in the upstate. The staff here is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and welcome you with open arms. The trainers/coaches here do an awesome job at programming challenging workouts and are able to modify any movement to fit your needs. As a physical therapist I have all the confidence in the world in sending patients to work with the KPF staff as they are up to date on research and training techniques. Amazing gym that fits all of your prehab, rehab, and general fitness needs. You can tell the staff here really cares about their clients and members.”

— Jonathan M, DPT

“It's a blessing to have these high quality trainers serving the Greenville community. As a local sports med chiropractor, it makes my job easier with our "return to functional activities". I'm very comfortable sending my patients to KPF. They are a friendly, smart, and passionate group. They stay up on the latest research and training techniques. Not only do they keep my patients out of pain, they improve performance and push them towards a happier and healthier life. Thanks TeamKPF”
