sports performance

It’s made for you.

Specialization in sports has caused athletes to find an edge in multiple ways. One of those that will never cease to be effective is physical conditioning. Maybe you looking to supplement your team training and prefer a more personal interaction. Maybe you are collegiate or pro athlete that has very specific training and logistical needs. Whatever it is our program can get you ready.

More than a number.

Most athletes have been to a showcase or combine where they are literally assigned a number. Or run through a session where there are 20+ athlete.

Not with us! We keep our group sessions 10 or less. When performing speed and agility exercises, our staff knows how to help you correlate it to your sport.

Although in a small group, your strength work is designed for you, based on the 4 step system we follow below.

Step 1: Program Managment Meeting

You will meet with one of our coaches, 1 on 1, to find out what you want to accomplish in our program. From there will we help you manage how that is done in conjunction with school, team practices and any private skill sessions you may have.

Step 2: Assessment.

We will take you through a movement screen to find out what you need from a movement perspective. In that same initial session, we will do some performance test for speed, agility, coordination and power.

Step 3: Train.

Now it’s time to get to work. Depending on your program choice, you will be training for 50 mins to and hour, with other athletes or 1on1. For each athlete, their program is designed in 6 week blocks of progression.

Step 4: Goal Review.

Starting with your Program Managment meeting in week 0, we follow up with an in person or virtual Goal Review meetings at the end of weeks 3 and 5. Here we assess progress and make necessary adjustments to help you continue to move forward.

FAQs

How do I schedule sessions?

For SPteam the athlete will book their session via our scheduling app prior to arriving to reserve their spot. For SPsemi and 1on1, you will set your schedule with your personal coach.

What is the difference in the younger session and the older session?

The younger session will be focused more on an introduction to movement. We will build on coordination and general body awareness. Strength training will resemble that of calisthenics. The older group will focus on more targeted speed and agility training and strength work that will prepare them for and/or enhance any work done in their High School.

Can I change my day/time each week?

Sure. Your daily/weekly training schedule is completely based on your needs and desire to get better. In your initial Program Management meeting, we will help you balance training and life.

How long do you suggest I train?

Our program is designed in 6 week blocks. Each consecutive block is built based on the previous one for any individual athlete that continues training into the next block. This is so that you have time to learn and begin to progress in your efforts to become stronger, faster and/or quicker.

Is this sport skill instruction?

No. We are not sport coaches. We will help you with general and sport specific performance instruction that will help you perform better in your desired sport.
