Walk/Ruck-A-Bout Challenge

In the month of April, let’s take advantage of our able bodies by doing the bare minimum of walking.

Walk a minimum of 15 minutes each day of the month. If you want to really push it, add a Ruck or weighted bookbag to the mix for some simultaneous strength work.

Get outside with family, friends, while soccer or baseball practice is going on, stay and walk at KPF. Whatever, just literally take that extra step. See how your body composition changes by just walking consistently. See how your lifts become easier with the base level of aerobic fitness.

Find out how you have more time in the day than you think to be active.

So, during the entire month of April lets see how many miles and minutes we can accumulate.

The Factory Games

In preparation for the upcoming Olympic Games, we felt like it would be fun to have two person teams and compete in some good old fashion college backyard games! In teams of two, we will have a “B Pong” (B is for Beverage of your choice) Tourney, Corn Hole Tourney and more.

Participation is $20 per athlete with ALL proceeds going to new gym equipment. Yes, that’s right, so your participation directly benefits you!

Plus, how fun would it be to hang out with gym friends or maybe that college roommate who still knows how to shoot a ping pong ball into a solo cup, all for the betterment of the gym.

3rd Saturdays - Coach's workout

Starting on March 16th, we will use the 3rd Saturday of each month to do a true TeamKPF workout where the coaches join in. We will only have on session on those Saturdays and that will be at 8am.

This event is for Middle school, High school and Collegiate female athletes to learn from a panel of experienced and influential female coaches, athletes and experts. The symposium, hosted by Knight Performance Factory, intends to educate, inspire and celebrate the future generations of female athletes in the Upstate of South Carolina.

Join TeamKPF and Kaleigh Best, Athlete Dietitian and owner of Aim Higher Performance for a Virtual Athlete Nutrition Workshop. 

On March 29th @ 730pm, Kaleigh will dive into a list of topics including but not limited to:

  • Nutrition 101 for Athletes

  • Macros and Micros of the Competitive Athlete

  • Supplement Safety for Athletes

  • Eating with Nutrition Restrictions and Special Diets
